Yarlin Dao was a male Bajoran who lived during the 24th and 25th centuries. (Bait and Switch: Beat the Drums of War)
Biography[]
Yarlin fought in the Bajoran Resistance during the Occupation of Bajor, and later joined the Bajoran Militia, eventually becoming a general and becoming the Commandant of Space Arm.
Following the disbandment of Space Arm in 2401, Yarlin transferred to Starfleet and became an admiral.
Once the Federation was able to confirm that the Romulan Republic was more than just rumor, Admiral Yarlin was placed in command of the H'atoria Sector Fleet based out of Starbase 234, near New Romulus.
In 2410 he led the defense of his base against the Iconian invasion from the USS Regent, which was lost with all hands during the battle.
